Vulnerabilidad Alimentaria en Futuros Profesionales del Deporte y la Salud Versus Otras Carreras Universitarias: Impacto por Sexo, Estrés Migratorio y Entorno Regional

Este estudio analizó la vulnerabilidad alimentaria en una muestra de 202 universitarios mexicanos (edad media 23.1 años), comparando estudiantes de Ciencias del Deporte y la Salud frente a otras disciplinas, bajo variables de sexo, estrés migratorio y región. Utilizando el cuestionario validado CARME, se evaluaron dimensiones como la impulsividad ante estímulos alimentarios y la alimentación emocional. Los resultados revelaron la denominada "ilusión académica": no se hallaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en las conductas de riesgo según el área de formación (p > .05), lo que demuestra que el conocimiento especializado no previene por sí mismo los hábitos nocivos. No obstante, se identificó una interacción crítica entre el sexo y el estatus migratorio; las mujeres foráneas presentaron niveles significativamente mayores de comer externo y emocional (Factores 1 y 4) asociados al estrés adaptativo y distanciamiento familiar. Además, la residencia en la región Norte se vinculó con un mayor consumo de alimentos calóricos. Se concluye que el entorno y el estrés migratorio son predictores de riesgo más potentes que el perfil académico, subrayando la urgencia de intervenciones con perspectiva de género y regulación emocional.
