Motivación en Estudiantes Universitarios en la Enseñanza y el Aprendizaje del Voleibol: Una Aplicación del Modelo TGfU

Esta investigación describió el perfil motivacional asociado al modelo Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje del voleibol. Mediante un diseño mixto explicativo secuencial (DEXPLIS) de corte transversal no experimental, fundamentado en la Teoría de la Autodeterminación (SDT), se evaluaron 49 estudiantes del primer semestre de la Licenciatura en Cultura Física y Deportes de la Universidad de Guadalajara en la Unidad de Aprendizaje de Fundamentos de los Juegos Deportivos. Se emplearon la Escala de Motivación Situacional (EMSI) y cuestionarios cualitativos de preguntas abiertas. Los resultados cuantitativos mostraron un perfil motivacional alto (80% de motivación intrínseca y 71% de regulación identificada), así como bajos niveles de desmotivación (67% en nivel bajo), lo cual fue complementado por los hallazgos cualitativos. Se concluye que el TGfU se asocia a procesos de aprendizaje significativo y compromiso activo al priorizar la comprensión táctica sobre la técnica, requiriendo el acompañamiento docente para superar la resistencia inicial al cambio de paradigma.
