Physical activity significantly contributes to quality of life; however, individuals with cerebral palsy often face limitations that hinder their participation in such activities. The aim of this study was to explore the lived experience of a person with cerebral palsy who participated in an adapted physical activity program, identifying its effects across various areas of their life. A qualitative single-case phenomenological design was employed, focusing on a person with cerebral palsy within an educational setting, specifically during adapted physical activity sessions. Data were collected through participant observation and documented in a field diary. Thematic analysis was conducted, including open, axial, and selective coding. The most relevant findings revealed that physical activity contributed to improved mobility; the teacher's instructional strategies played a crucial role in generating both positive and negative emotions; and the development of interpersonal skills emerged during games and physical exercises. It was concluded that adapted physical activity sessions should be structured according to the individual life condition of the person with cerebral palsy.
